Mary Ellen Jasper

This is a unique silver pendant with sterling and black bead accents that bisect the triangular shape. It makes this lovely 2.063" x 1.563" pendant almost look heart shaped.
The stromatolite matrix found here is a beautiful group of fossilized microorganisms replaced with red jasper and hematite creating a unique material known as Mary Ellen Jasper.

Ruby in Fuchsite

India is the source of this beautiful material. The pendant measures 2.125" x 1.5" and looks stunning when hung from a chain or a string of pearls.
Garnet and sterling silver beads bisect this heart with a large central ruby. The Rubian Fuchsite was wrapped in a mix of sterling and 14 karat gold filled wire. Half of the wires have been twisted to add additional texture and visual interest.

Sand Dollar

SOLD

One of the more unusual finds from our travels this year was the discovery of the fossilized sand dollar. This piece measures 2.25" x 1.75." and has been set so the ancient stone is the star.
A simple setting of contrasting metals was chosen. A single 14 karat gold filled wire circles this fossilized sand dollar while sterling silver wire forms the remainder of the bezel.

Tray of Stones

This last year Robert was able to cut a wide variety of stones that can either be wrapped in wire or set into sterling silver settings. The hearts and stones in the silver settings in the bottom two rows are ready to wear - you can customize your design on any of the remaining stones. Most of these materials are from the Western US, so you can find a little bit of your home state as well as a beautiful piece of jewelry.
